Remember last week when I said that I was clearing out my closet to prepare for the move and the new season and realized that what was missing was a basic pair of black pumps? Well, I spent the better part of a day trying on pumps at Nordstrom and ended up with a pair so perfect and comfy that I bought them in two different colors; black and a beautiful cognac color aka ‘burnt umber’. I seriously tried on every pump at every price point and these Jessica Simpson ‘Claudette’ pumps were the comfiest and most flattering ones of all (and on SALE). I’m usually an 8.5 in heels and these run true to size and are the perfect fit.
I decided to pair them with a cute embellished French terry top that was a gift from Piperlime at a Fashion Week party – I like that it’s a little bit fancy but still feels like a sweatshirt! My leather sweatpants were from last year and I wore them nonstop during February fashion week this past Winter.
