Last night I went to a fun event at the W sponsored by M Dot Design Studio featuring beautiful clothes and jewelry designed and made right here in Southern California. This talon bracelet from Miss Wax was one of my favorites – if you’re not familiar with this amazing line then definitely check out their website for the most amazing, hand-made-in -LA pieces that give a feminine twist to street-wear styles.

I’m so glad I went to this event! I almost backed out because I’m right in the middle of my move and the house is all boxed up and I couldn’t find the dress or shoes that I wanted to wear but I ended up wearing this thrifted crochet dress from my trip to SF last weekend (yes, I managed to squeeze in a trip to my favorite thrift store while I was up there!) plus these ankle tie wedges from a vintage shopping trip to Arizona last year and this Brahmin clutch that I just got in the mail from a Poshmark purchase.
I’m also wearing that fish hook bracelet c/o Wimbo Apparel and the studded wrap bracelet from Linea Pelle.
I can’t believe it’s almost Memorial Day weekend! It really crept up on me this year with all the moving madness going on here. I’m hoping to have everything in to the new house by then and to spend my weekend unpacking and settling in. What are your plans???
