Good morning! It’s been an amazing week here in Nelson, BC – such a radical change from my life in LA. I’m packing up this morning and getting ready to head back to the States and jump into the final phase of the home remodel plus some fun blogging events. Nelson is a beautiful small town with cute shops, super sweet people and a nice, slow-paced lifestyle that I loved getting a glimpse of this week. I tried nearly every restaurant in town and started each morning at the fantastic Oso Negro coffee house; I’m on my way there now to grab a few of their ‘Mountain Bars’ for the trip home – I’ll definitely be trying to figure out how to make them myself…
I can’t believe all of the great vintage and thrift shopping in Nelson. I took a pass on this skirt because the fit was wrong but I may end up regretting not bringing it home with me. In addition to eating and shopping, I did some exploring and loved seeing waterfalls and trees and other pretty things that I miss out on when I’m sitting in traffic on the 405.
This was such a lovely getaway and a great chance to relax and experience a slower paced life. I hope you had a fun week and are looking forward to the weekend! xx
