Phew! It’s been a fun-filled week here in NYC with my mom. This trip has been the perfect blend of business and pleasure plus lots of quality pre-Mother’s Day time. I’ve done a zillion things that I’ll go more in to depth on once I get back home – showroom visits, events and a fabulous day of beauty – but for now I’ll share some of my favorite shots up to this point.
We’ve seen Kinky Boots and On the Town this week and they were each fantastic! We stopped by a Cinco de Mayo party on our way to Kinky Boots and decided to wear our tiny fiesta hats to the theater to keep in the spirit of things.
Morton’s Steak House, Junior’s Cheesecake and Eataly were home to a few of the most notable meals of this trip. I eat more desserts here in NYC than I ever do at home in LA but I’ve been averaging close to 6 miles of walking per day so it all evens out. Speaking of which; our walk across the Brooklyn Bridge this morning was a first for my mom and a highlight of the week.
Yesterday was a day of pampering at The Carlton with Caravan Style Studio and I love how my hair turned out – I was going for a little Bardot look:
