I’m back home from Puerto Vallarta and already missing the warm weather. This was an amazingly relaxing trip and one of the first trips I’ve taken where I feel like I packed perfectly. It’s like all of my packing mistakes have led me to this point of being able to pack extremely well. I’m looking forward to sharing my outfits of summer fashion for women from this trip with you this week. I’ll call them ‘Resort Wear’ but they’ll be perfect pieces for year-round wear here in LA and due to some smart, spur-of-the-moment shopping the week before this trip I now have the building blocks of my Spring / Summer fashion for women all set.
This lightweight, ruched tunic/tee was perfect as a cover-up, top and dress and took up hardly any space in my suitcase. I also love that I can wear it on or off the shoulder. My polka dot scarf worked triple duty in Puerto Vallarta as well: sarong, shawl and even a groovy head-wrap. I can’t say enough good things about my Vera Bradley ‘Breakaway’ tote; it was the perfect carry-on for the flight, great for shopping and I brought it down to the beach with me each day plus I’m planning on bringing it along to NYC next week for Fashion Week!
