Puerto Vallarta Update

vacation in Puerto Vallarta

My vacation in Puerto Vallarta has flown by in a blur of meals, meals and more meals along with relaxing time at the beach (where we plan our next meal) and plenty of laughs plus a nice ‘siesta’ each afternoon. It’ll be hard to leave this beautiful place tomorrow and fly home to a house filled with boxes to unpack and a remodel that’s not quite finished.

Monday night we enjoyed a Chefs Dinner in one of the villas and it was fantastic.  Each course was a work of art but the highlight for me was the dessert;  the same chocolate tamale in the little corn-husk boat that I enjoyed so much last year.

Another highlight of my vacation in Puerto Vallarta has been my early morning walks down to the beach; I love how warm the water is in this part of the Pacific Ocean, especially first thing in the morning. Even on the hottest day in Santa Monica, the water is not nearly this lovely.

Last night we had a surprise 2nd wedding ceremony down at the beach for friends who just got married on New Years Eve!  They were completely caught off guard and it was a great night filled with food, music, friends and fun.

This is one of the few trips that I’ve been on where I haven’t taken nearly enough pictures.  I did manage to get shots of some of the cute new Spring/Summer things I wore this past week and will share more next week. Thanks so much for following along!
