My second day in Puerto Vallarta was absolutely the most perfect day. The only real plans for the day were a 10am breakfast and a 7pm dinner. I enjoyed time at the beach, lunch at the beach club, a dip in the pool, afternoon coffee in the jacuzzi and then a nice nap before dinner. I could definitely get used to this!
I made an effort to pack light and smart for this trip and so far I’m really happy with the things I brought along. My favorite thing so far is this Free People fringe kimono that I ordered online last week – it’s an online exclusive at Free People and is perfect for travel. I wore it today with shorts and also used it as a cover-up after swimming plus I think it’ll look great with a black sundress. This is one of those things that I’ll wear back at home in LA, too.

I highly recommend this Free People fringe kimono – it doubled as a blanket on the flight, slips on like a vest so you don’t have to worry about it sliding off, packs easily and adds a chic touch to all sorts of outfits. It’s one size fits all and I’m crazy about it!
