This year at Coachella my accommodations were quite different from previous years. Two friends and I decided to be a little more adventurous and go GLAMping at Vestal Village!
Vestal Village was an event unto itself with music every night, food trucks, a bar and a camping area where you could reserve a furnished tent like ours or bring your own. Vestal Village was right next to a lake and also had a large pool area with DJ’s, cabanas set up with festival fashions for sale and a mini-salon for hair touch-ups. Due to the close proximity to the actual music festival, this would be a great place to camp if you were a camping-type person in town for Coachella!
The early morning coffee truck was a great addition to everything happening at Vestal Village and I actually enjoyed the quiet mornings relaxing in the desert before my busy days.
I brought the best waterproof blue tooth speaker with me; the Fugoo Style is seriously the best portable wireless speaker out there. With a 40-hour battery life, we made it through the whole weekend without needing a charge. The Fugoo also has Siri, a speakerphone and Google Now technology plus it comes with a pretty ‘jacket’ to change up it’s look. I also have a pool float for mine but didn’t end up using it on this adventure!. You can learn more about Fugoo at FUGOO.COM
All in all, my camping experience was a fun one and I’m glad that I tried something different this year!
