Here’s a closer look at the skirt I wore to last Sunday’s ‘Seeds of Love’ event in DTLA. This ‘Capri’ skirt is from Spring 2012 by Lafayette 148 NY and is one of my all time favorites. It reminds me of a trip I took to the Amalfi coast in 2007 – we had a day in Sorrento and Capri and there were cobblers custom fitting Capri sandals everywhere and I was trying to decide which color and which shop but then I never got around to getting a pair made and we ran out of time and had to get back to the boat and I’m still a little sad that I didn’t get a pair of Capri sandals from Capri.
I love this shot of Jackie O in Capri:
I ended up wearing those L.A.M.B. heels with my Capri skirt along with a tee from Target and a Jamin Puech bag from Paris that I scored at an estate sale last Saturday for one dollar!!
My boyfriend and I look for estate sales almost every Saturday morning and we almost skipped this last weekend because we’re right in the middle of a move and are all boxed up here and really shouldn’t be shopping for more stuff but we went anyway and I’m so glad we did! I also found a black silk Givenchy blouse – with the tags still on and in my size – for one dollar at the same place I got this great bag.
Tonight is the LA Times Rock/Style event and I’m really excited for it! This will be my first time attending this fun night of music and fashion and I can hardly wait. I’ll be posting live on Instagram tonight and will share my recap here tomorrow! xx
