No matter where I roam, California is home! In other news… I’m officially engaged!! My boyfriend proposed to me last week at Hollywood Bowl and, of course, I said YES! I’m wearing the same ring that he gave me 5 years ago and just added an eternity band to it and we’ve got another one that we’ll add when we actually tie the knot.
Right now I’m prepping for NYFW. Can you believe that this will be my 6th season? It feels like just yesterday that I made the trip out to NYC on my own for a week with only one solid invite and decided to just ‘wing it’. I’m planning most of my outfits around my favorite black basics this season. I tend to waaaaay over-pack and this time I’ve made a vow to keep it simple. My new Vera Bradley bag is at the top of my packing list, along with my favorite Parker Smith jeans and chunky heeled boots:
I actually bought those boots during last September NYFW when all the shoes I packed were not comfortable enough to run around in. The big H&M on Fifth Ave has saved me so many times when I’ve needed ‘last minute’ items while I’m staying in the city.
