Social season is in full-swing here with events almost every night this week with no sign of slowing down – just the way I like it! The Left Shoe Company on Melrose is a fabulous made-to-measure destination for footwear which involves a 3-D scan of your feet that is used to get the perfect fit. This event was sponsored by Townhang.com and Single Dress and was a great opportunity to visit with friends, sip champagne and do some holiday shopping.

Wednesday night was another informative and fun SimplyStylist event with a fantastic panel which included actress Mena Suvari along with Pursuit of Shoes blogger Ashley Torres, WWD writer Khan Tran, Kitson COO Courtney Saavedra and was hosted by Sarah Boyd:
These Simply Stylist panels are always so inspiring and motivating plus they provide a great chance to network and make new friends in the industry. We had great appetizers and were sent home with the cutest Kitson tote bags…
This week I was also lucky enough to be invited to the Alberto Parada 2014 Red Carpet Collection preview where I saw the most beautiful sustainable, free-trade and conflict-free gems and diamonds. There were so many stunning pieces at this event that would be perfect for Red Carpet events but they were so gorgeous that I’d want to wear them every day! Seeing this collection got me excited for awards season and all of the beautiful gowns, shoes, jewelry, hair and makeup… I can hardly wait!
