malibu cafe, calamigos ranch, malibu, currently crushingThis weekend was a whirlwind of activity including an outdoor brunch at a ranch in Malibu, a fun interview and photo shoot with Stacey of Spectacular Is in Beverly Hills and the Robyn Rhodes Jewelry Spa & Shop event in Studio City….

 

 

robyn rhodes jewelry, currently crushingRobyn Rhodes hosted this great holiday event at her studio where I got the chance to try on so many fabulous pieces – those large gemstone rings were my favorites.  I also got eyelash extensions (my first time and I love how they look!) thanks to Marisol and had more than one of these cute cake pops from Super Baked Goods:

robyn rhodes jewelry, currently crushingmarisol makeup, currently crushingBright and early Sunday morning I met up with Stacey to be interviewed for her site spectacularis.com – I’m brand-new to wearing glasses and seeing how cute Stacey looks in hers and learning about her love/hate relationship with them made me feel a little less self-conscious and ready to embrace my new glasses.  I’ll let you know when my interview is up on her site!

currently crushing, spectacular is, ray ban glasses, ray ban reading glasses, ray ban glasses, spectacular is, currently crushingNext up, my boyfriend and I went to a late brunch at the Malibu Cafe.  This was my first time having brunch there and I can’t wait to go back!  Our friend was performing with his Bob Dylan cover band “Jack of Hearts” and it was so much fun to eat outside while listening to live music on the grounds of Calamigos Ranch.  There were kids and dogs running around and we shot pool and pictures and fell in love with the happy vibe at this place:
