I love it when I find a great ‘multi-purpose’ piece that I can wear year-round. This striped dress was one of my Times Square Forever 21 scores from my NYC trip. I love that it’s got 3/4 sleeves so it’ll work in cooler months and I can layer it in all sorts of ways. First up, it’s great as a comfy ‘running errands’ dress…
I paired it with one of my vintage Gucci fedoras, Ferragamo sneakers and Chanel bag. I purposely bought the dress in a larger size so that it would look sort of ‘sporty casual’ when worn like this. Next up, I’m wearing it as a top with an Old Navy leather pencil skirt that I bought nearly 10 years ago:
Worn with those Zara heels you’ve been seeing so much of plus these cute Bon Jour hand warmers also found at the Times Square Forever 21. I think my oversized Cat Eye sunnies (c/o Zerouv) are perfect with this look.
This mustard-color ‘Cool’ sweater is another one of my NYC finds from one of the 2 Zara stores on Fifth Ave. This is one of those colors that I like on brunettes more than blondes so I generally shy away from it but I thought the sweater was so cute that I decided to take the leap and buy it anyway. I’m glad I did.
I just pulled out these Kurt Geiger side-lace booties that I bought from Poshmark earlier this year. They’ve got just the right amount of wedge to give me some height but are still very easy to run around in.
I can’t believe that tomorrow is the first of October already! I’ve got a busy, fun month planned with a trip up to San Francisco for iFabbo, then the M Dot Design Studio LAFW runway show and then a return to NYC for a Simply Stylist event at the end of the month.
I hope your week is off to a great start! xoxoxo
