This is an outfit I put together this weekend on my trip up to San Francisco. I brought this reversible jacket with me – I bought it at a garage sale more than a year ago and wear it so much and bring it on trips and use it as a pillow and/or blanket on flights – it’s one of my favorite garage sale finds. I also brought along these thrifted boots that are quickly becoming a wardrobe staple for me, too. I only had one day to hit the SF thrift stores but I found fabulous treasures including this plaid skirt and Boston Terrier tee! On our way to breakfast we found a garage sale and I bought these Betsey Johnson sunnies and this perfect XOXO bracelet! We shot these pictures in a park near my mom’s house that I used to play at when I was little and then worked at as a summer camp counselor when I was in college.
I love weekend trips like this one. I did some excellent thrifting, visited with family, saw the San Francisco Chinese New Year parade, ate some fantastic meals and also stopped at my very favorite Mexican restaurant, La Super Rica in Santa Barbara, on the drive up and then again on our way back home!
