On-The-Go Makeup

currently crushing, effies paper, physicians formula, it cosmetics, touch in sol, rimmel london, cute makeup bag

As much as I love all of my makeup and beauty products, when I’m traveling I like to keep it all very simple.  My goal is to pack as few products as possible and bring my best mulit-taskers whenever possible. Here is a look at the makeup that I’ve been using when I’m traveling light:

How cute is this cosmetics bag from Effie’s Paper?  I can’t even begin to think about putting on makeup in the morning without a cup of coffee so this bag suits me well.  IT Cosmetics hit a home run with their new Bye Bye Foundation full-coverage moisturizer; lightweight with a dewy feel, this is my new favorite product for coverage, protection and treatment.  Paired with this IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin Skin-Smoothing Brush, I’ve got my ‘foundation’ covered while traveling.  For the ultimate in travel multi-tasking I’ve been packing the Rimmel Kate Sculpting Cosmetic Set  which I use for highlighting, contour and also a pretty peachy pink blush AND I’ve been using the contour shade (applied with that IT Heavenly Luxe Superhero brush) as eyeshadow!  For a more glam eye look I use these two shades, either together or separately, of Touch In Sol Metallist liquid foil and glitter eyeshadow duo.  Two new favorites from Physician’s Formula are the Killer Curves Voluptuous Curling mascara and Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipstick in the shade called Vitamin Beet.

These products had me completely covered for New York Fashion Week and my week in Hawaii! xo
