You’ve seen a lot of me in my basic black tees (here and here) and now, inspired by one of my style favorites Helena of Brooklyn Blonde, I’m starting to love building an outfit around a simple white tee. This perfectly designed tee is from Sixtwenty – a local company that designs and manufactures all of their luxurious basics right here in Southern California.
We’ve been having some crazy summer-like weather these past few days in LA. This outfit started out with a great camel-colored cashmere blazer that I found at an estate sale this weekend but it was just too hot to wear so I guess the blazer and I will both have to wait a little longer for true Fall temps. Can you see the back seam on the tee? I love these little quality touches that Sixtwenty adds to their styles.

I’m just starting to come down from all of my NYC excitement and go through all of the pictures I took. I had tons of fun visiting designer showrooms, seeing a Broadway show, attending a swanky after-party, eating plenty of Junior’s cheesecake, shopping and sightseeing. Stay tuned for my NYC highlights…
