Every time I wear this Karen Kane blouse I think of that line from Napoleon Dynamite about the big sleeves. I love the fit of this blouse – billowy sleeves and snug through the waist. I’m wearing it with black on black polka dot pants that I found at Forever 21 this weekend. I’ve had amazing luck with their pants lately; this is my second pair (remember those black coated denim ones that I wore so much during the holidays?) and I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of these.
My heels are from Schutz, a Brazillian company that is becoming more widely available. I visited their flagship store on Madison Avenue a few months ago when I was in NYC and fell in love with their designs.
I picked up this leather jacket at a favorite LA swap meet called “Melrose Trading Post” that is held at Fairfax High every Sunday. I’m wearing a lipstick that I tried for the first time yesterday and I LOVE it! It’s from Nars and is a big pencil that gives a matte finish. I’m wearing “Cruella” in these pictures and I’m planning a trip back to Sephora today to get another one in a lighter shade. I put it on in the morning and it lasted all day long – in the evening I put a little of that Egyptian Magic on my lips and it made the color a softer pink but it still looked like I had lipstick on so I was thrilled!
