This is quite a departure from my usual heels! I go through ‘sneaker spells’ where I live in shoes like this for days on end – it’s so nice to be able to run around and feel so comfy. The funny thing is, as much as I love heels and feel pretty when I wear them, I get more compliments from ‘the fellas’ when I wear sporty shoes. I can’t tell you how many guys had comments on these Asics – apparently they’re the color of the Jets, Mets, Broncos and some other teams I can’t remember. This is my advice to the single girls out there: wear sporty shoes in major league team colors and prepare to be amazed at how many guys have something to say about your shoes.
With my Mets/Jets/Broncos sneakers I’m wearing Guess coated denim, an Express sweater, leather/fur reversible bomber jacket from an estate sale and the yellow Louis Vuitton champagne bag that I found in a resale shop in Nice this summer.
