On Friday I received this beautiful coral maxi c/o Jordan Taylor and basically lived in it all weekend. Jordan Taylor has been designing and producing fabulous women’s beachwear and resort fashions here in the US for the past 30 years! I highly recommend checking out their website – I also follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to keep up with the latest in cute, casual resortwear.
First up, I wore this dress along with BCBGeneration wedges out to coffee on Ventura – I can’t believe how hot this weekend was here in LA!
I love the ‘tulip’ front of this dress which makes it cute and easy to walk in plus the length was perfect for me. I was able to wear it with flat sandals (from Jack Rogers) to the Studio City farmer’s market without tripping over it! I’m amazed at how long some maxi’s are – I’m 5’7 and most of them are way too long for me to wear with flats. This one was perfect in a size Small.
On Sunday I went with my boyfriend to the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica for a ‘beach day’ with his relatives. Along with a hat and those Jack Roger’s, this dress made a great cover-up. Here’s a shot with my boyfriend’s cousin (I’m still wearing that Katie Dean Jewelry wishbone necklace nearly every day)
This was such a perfect dress for my busy weekend. Last night when it finally started to cool off here I paired it with a vintage Bongo denim jacket, that great hand-tooled leather tote c/o Vania & David and my ‘Coachella Boots’ for a casual Italian dinner:
I hope you had a wonderful, long weekend and are enjoying these last weeks of summer as much as I am!
